1. 個人情報およびチャットデータの収集・送信について

当アプリは、ユーザーの通信環境に応じて「ローカル通信（Wi-Fi/テザリング）」またはインターネット回線を経由した「P2P（Peer-to-Peer）通信」を切り替えて使用します。

個人情報の収集: 当アプリは、ユーザー名、メールアドレスなどの個人情報を一切収集しません。アカウントの登録も不要です。
オンラインモード時のデータ取り扱い: インターネット環境がある場合、端末間で直接データを送受信するP2P通信を行います。この通信は暗号化され、2端末間のみでリアルタイムに処理されます。当アプリの開発者を含む第三者の中央サーバー（データベース等）に保存されることは一切ありません。
オフラインモード時のデータ取り扱い: インターネット環境がない場合、通信はすべてローカルネットワーク（Wi-Fi/テザリング）内でのみ完結し、端末外のインターネットへデータが送信されることはありません。
翻訳データ: すべての翻訳処理はホスト端末内（オンデバイス）で完結し、外部の翻訳サーバーへデータが送信されることはありません。

2. 使用している技術と権限について

当アプリは、インターネット環境の有無に関わらず端末間での直接通信を実現するために以下の端末権限を使用しますが、これらは通信および翻訳機能の提供目的以外には使用されません。

Wi-Fi / テザリング（インターネット共有）: 近くの端末と直接接続し、ローカルチャットルームを構築・ブラウザへ画面を配信するために使用します。

3. プライバシーポリシーの変更について

当アプリは、法令の変更やアプリの機能拡張に伴い、本プライバシーポリシーを随時改定することがあります。

Privacy Policy

LingoOasis (hereinafter referred to as "the App") prioritizes user privacy and provides a secure communication environment. This Privacy Policy outlines the handling of information regarding the use of the App.

1. Collection and Transmission of Personal Data and Chat History

This app switches between "local communication" (Wi-Fi/tethering) and "P2P (Peer-to-Peer) communication" via the Internet, depending on the user's network environment.

Collection of Personal Data: The App does not collect any personal information, such as user names or email addresses. No user registration or account creation is required.
Data Handling in Online Mode: If an internet connection is available, the app uses P2P communication to send and receive data directly between devices. This communication is encrypted and processed in real-time exclusively between the two devices. Data is never stored on any third-party central server (such as a database), including those managed by the app's developers.
Data Handling in Offline Mode: When no internet connection is available, all communications are strictly confined to the local network (Wi-Fi/Tethering). No data is ever transmitted over the internet.
Translation Data: All translation processing is performed entirely on-device (host-side) and is never sent to external translation cloud services.

2. Permissions and Technologies Used

This app uses the following device permissions to enable direct communication between devices regardless of whether an internet connection is available; however, these permissions are not used for any purpose other than providing communication and translation functions.

Wi-Fi / Tethering (Internet Sharing): Used to connect directly with nearby devices, establish a local chat room, and host the web interface for the guest browser.
